His work without accompaniment is my absolute favorite, he was a genius, he was very broke most of his life, he had a pet cow named jelly roll. Moo.

The greatest to ever rock and roll. Nuff said. Chuck Berry is on top.

Bowie/Beatles - Station to Station/Revolver

Grouping them because damn near every song they made was great, doesn’t say much about someone to like these BLOKES.

YMO - YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA

WOWZA so so many good songs and every member has an amazing discography on their own, what a nice age.

Tom Lehrer - Everything

His recent death shocked me. He was only 97. Just a kid. I was going to send him a letter for his 98th which opened with “I hope this letter finds you alive” the rest of the contents are a secret, let’s not be nosy about this whole ordeal while I am still grieving.

authenticity is a very hard thing to find in art, his passion inspires me greatly.

Harry Nilsson - A little touch of schmilsson

Sly and the family stone - Fresh

He has always been one of my favorite artists, nobody comes CLOSE to what sly does. When he died, his death was completely overshadowed by a white guy who died the same week. Don't you ever forget Sly.

Rumbling tumbling intro, talking the lyrics deeply, rinky dinky extro. That is every Ink Spots song. You don't have one percent of their talent so please never point that out.

Nick Lowe - Jesus of Cool

Every song is good, every lyric is good. He was never as succesful as Bowie, but a little know fact is that "Low" is about him. and Nick's "Bowi" is about David. True facts only here.
